PlayStation Plus Free Games Review - April 2016

What's upppp guys! It's been awhile to review PS Plus free games on this month.
So let's get started. Here's a little glimpse of PS Plus free games trailer

1. Reality Fighters
Platform: PS Vita
Genre: Action / Fighting
My Personal Rating: 6/10
Whoever you are who don't know about AR - augmented reality this is a good game to let you imagine what AR is. Reality fighters is an augmented reality fighting game in which you can capture yourself using the NGP camera and duke it out against other fighters around the world.

But there's some bugs or problem that you may not enjoy the game. The biggest problem with Reality Fighters is that your fighter, especially with your superimposed face doesn't look right. That and the background environments look a little plain, even the augmented reality ones of your real environment. It just doesn't look right. Fortunately there is enough options as a fighting game to keep you investing some time into it but compared to the more professional fighters out there, and it's free ENJOY it while you can.

2. I Am Alive
Platform: PS3
Genre: Action Adventure
My Personal Rating: 8/10 (Recommended)
It's all about survival game where the world you lived is going to tear apart. Here's a little background story on this game, one year after a worldwide cataclysmic event that wiped out most of the human race, a man struggles for his survival in a desolate city as he tries to reunite with his long lost family. In this post-apocalyptic tale, there are no supernatural threats, just an everyman who faces a decaying and hazardous world and humanity’s darkest inclinations.

Even you need to buy this game it's really worth it! But how about free?

There's a brutal, harsh overtone throughout that involves some explicit content and things of that nature, but it's all essential. And as I said before, if you get all anal about the control, the lack of total realism, and some erratic AI, you're going to be disappointed. But I think adventures like this are all about the experience.

Special thanks for theRadBrad and his 20 minutes of video

3. FLAME OVER
Platform: PS Vita
Genre: Simulation
My Personal Rating: 7/10 (Fun to Play)
Flame Over is a fire fighting 'squirt 'em-up' game with randomly generated levels, blending twin stick shooter and roguelike design principles. Flame Over features a dynamic fire system that burns and spreads according to the materials found in each randomly generated level. Watch fires spread according to the materials available, attacking your fire fighter and generating dangerous hazards across 4 game zones

I was playing FLAME OVER and I was a bit surprised 'a pleasant little surprise'. Its twin-stick controls work great on the handheld, there’s no forced touchscreen use, its art style and music work well and its core gameplay is solid for a while. Flame Over isn’t perfect. It is, however, fun.

Here is a gameplay trailer from SonyPlayStation

4. Dead Star
Platform: PS4
Genre: Action
My Personal Rating: 7/10 (Fun to Play)
Dead Star is MOBA galatic space combat that you need to control your airship to shoot and explore in a big galaxy. It initially seems simple and straightforward, but the more you play it, the more its tactical and strategic depths become apparent. Ultimately, it's a really enjoyable game that offers intense, competitive PvP action, from exciting one-on-one dogfights to pitched battles involving many players.

I don't know why there's so many good indies on PlayStation titles. Sony PlayStation can assure indie developers to join to PlayStation side :3

5. ZOMBI
Platform: PS4
Genre: Action
My Personal Rating: 7/10 (Recommended)
Have you ever heard ZOMBI U? Yeah it's a port of Wii U games one year ago. On PlayStation is going to be free, why you need to buy when it's free? Just grab your wallet to subscribe PS Plus a yearrrr!

Like other zombie games, ZOMBI takes place where an outbreak has infected the population, destroying their humanity and turning them into mindless monsters preying on the flesh of the few remaining survivors. This fear-fueled first-person shooter invites takes all the horror, chaos and tension found in the best of the horror genre and adds original interactive elements, including a unique death mechanic that puts players in the body of a different survivor each time they die, allowing them to track and take down their old, infected characters, recover their equipment and see if they can stay alive just a little bit longer this time.

Special thanks for MKIceAndFire for the video

6. Savage Moon

Platform: PS3
Genre: Strategic
My Personal Rating: 7/10
Savage Moon is action-packed tower defense strategy game takes you to distant planets where you must defend mining facilities from relentless Insectocyte monsters. Build towers in strategic locations in order to fend off wave after wave of increasingly tough attackers. Then use funds from kills and mining to build, upgrade, or research new weapons and technologies to strengthen your defenses. It will take equal parts skill and strategy to survive in Savage Moon

Of all the new tower defense games that have come out out recently, I have to say that I was very impressed with Savage Moon. Sure, it may not be a beauty in the graphics or audio department, but the layered combat and multitude of tactical options make Savage Moon a must for fans of the ever-evolving tower defense genre, and it isn't a bad choice for those who are interested in RTS-style games in general.
