PlayStation Plus Free Games Review - June 2016

Whats up guys, This June I will give my review about PS+ free games. I don't know why I didn't win the Jr reporter contest last month. But I don't give up, and I just want to make sure you all who read this already subscribe PS+. Okay enough talk, let's get started~

1. NBA 2K16
Platform: PlayStation 4
Genre: Sports
My Personal Rating: 9/10 (Recommended)
Honestly I am not the type of the guy who love every single sports game. BUT you have to try this franchise is back with a true-to-life NBA experience in NBA 2K16. Guide your My PLAYER through the complete NBA journey, take control of an entire NBA franchise, or refine your skills online competing against gamers from around the globe. With animations that provide smoother movement and more realistic articulation, it promises to be the most authentic NBA gaming experience yet.

A great sports simulation, a title packed with content that will allow basketball lovers to live out their fantasies, create some impressive matches, and experience presentation that rivals real-world broadcasts. The only major problem with the package is that the Living Da Dream narrative is relatively poor, given the hype associated with the involvement of Spike Lee, and some people might actually give up on MyCareer early because of it.

Here's a Stephen Curry gameplay vs LeBron, special thanks for GhostRobo for the video

2. TROPICO 5
Platform: PlayStation 4
Genre: Tycoon
My Personal Rating: 8/10 (Recommended)
This is the first debut for Tropico Team, Haemimont to make it to console. And thanks for that! I have a little afraid this game will not come into Asia region as a free game, because on PS+ US already released on the last month. Fortunately, the answer has come.

Tropico 5 is a great city building game. Of course it is best of the genre on the PS4 (duh). But personally I consider it best in the series and one of the best city building games in the genre (platform wide). There are better city builders, but not so many and Tropico is still worth playing too.

It's not like you build your city only, there is also big focus on politics. You need to keep other countries happy to avoid invasion and receive bigger foreign aid. And your citizens are divided into several political factions. Each with own preferences. You can also issue different laws that will somehow change the life on the island and have different advantages and disadvantages. You can assign some free food to citizens = happier people, but lesser exports. Nice example of the game depth is for example allowance of same sex marriage.

3. God of War Ghost of Sparta
Platform: PSP / PS Vita
Genre: Action Adventure
My Personal Rating: 9/10 (Recommended)
I already played this game on my PSP back then. It's DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE TITLE! This version is a pure port from PSP you can play on PSP or PlayStation Vita digitally. Ghost of Sparta is beyond doubt the best action experience you can find on your PSP. Still, it feels like a small step back from the evolution of the saga achieved by the last HD chapter.

Set in the realm of Greek mythology, Ghost of Sparta is a single-player game that allows players to take on the powerful role of Spartan warrior Kratos. This new adventure picks up after God of War concludes, telling the story of Kratos' ascension to power as the God of War. In his quest to rid himself of the nightmares that haunt him, Kratos must embark on a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds, and finally answer long-awaited questions about his dark past. Armed with the deadly chained Blades of Chaos, he will have to overcome armies of mythological monsters, legions of undead soldiers, and amazingly dangerous and brutal landscapes throughout his merciless quest

A little glimpse of gameplay from casualgamerreed, thanks dude

4. LocoRoco Midnight Carnival
Platform: PSP / PS Vita
Genre: Fun
My Personal Rating: 7/10 (Incridiblely Fun)
LocoRoco Midnight Carnival has prepared brand new and super challenging stages filled with gimmicks ready for you to roll and bounce through in this brand new and exclusive to PlayStation Network Instalment in the fun, fast and super addictive LocoRoco series. Welcome to the LocoRoco Midnight Carnival! Featuring super hard night time stages focusing on speed and temp and filled with lethal traps, will you be able to clear them or will you give up? It all depends on you. The key to surviving these perilous new stages is the brand new High Bounce, which lets you leap over barriers, climb up walls and speed up sliding LocoRoco

If you've felt that the series has started to get a little stale, on the other hand, then I think Midnight Carnival will be the game for you. The game is full of great level designs with a difficulty to match, and the challenge makes it a far more addictive experience than the previous two titles for me.

5. Echochrome
Platform: PlayStation 3
Genre: Puzzle
My Personal Rating: 8/10
If you love challenging yourself with puzzle, try this one. But if you easily frustrated by confusing paths of puzzle I tell you don't. Echochrome is an elegant black and white art design inspired by the works of M.C. Escher, echochrome is a puzzle game unlike any other. With gameplay based on optical illusions, players must utilize five simple laws of perspective to join walkways, hide dangers, and create new paths to reach the "echos," or shadow guides. Once you've mastered the five laws, use them to create your own mind-bending levels to play and share with friends using the custom level editor. Master perspective puzzles based on optical illusions across 56 challenging levels that are exclusive to the PS3 version.

Special thanks for wc10k for the video

6. Siren Blood Curse
Platform: PlayStation 3
Genre: Action Adventure / Horror
My Personal Rating: 8/10 (Recommended)
Japanese Survival Horror are available as free to downloads, keeping you on the edge of your seat until the next episode arrives. The story follows a TV crew from America, who has journeyed to research and film an exposé on the urban myth of Hanuda, the Vanished Village. Frozen in the 1970s and surrounded by a red sea, it is said that an ancient curse has been set upon this town.

The introduction of western characters to Siren Blood Curse brings a new dimension to the series and, in order to survive, they must defend themselves from the vicious Shibito, the living dead, and other terrifying monsters. Throughout the game you play each of the visitors to the village, while the game's unique Sight-Jack System enables you to switch seamlessly between the visions of the hunted and the hunters. As the plot thickens you discover you are stuck in a time loop in which events eternally repeat and change.
