PlayStation Plus Free Games Review - January 2016

Hi guys, Happy new year 2016!
I am so happy I can write my review again and this is my first review on this new year 2016. Hope you like and enjoy it.

Free games from PlayStation Plus on this month are 6 games and they are

1. Hardware Rivals
Platform: PS4
Genre: Simulation
My Personal Rating: 7/10

Thanks for SCEA brings this game for free, you play as an armored tank vs Fast Attack Vehicles (FAVs), in an all-terrain battle-fest of online multiplayer vehicular action. Plow through a range of unique combat arenas, claiming bounties, completing Challenges and wreaking terrible vengeance upon old adversaries. With multiple battle modes, regular community events and a range of perks to unlock as you progress, there will always be a chance to settle the score.

With multiple maps, game modes, challenges and special events, Hardware Rivals lets you jump online for some frenetic vehicle-on-vehicle combat. You can go in as a lone wolf or as part of a team, challenging your friends and hunting down your rivals. Wear your colors proudly and unlock vehicle upgrades to tweak your ride to your own personal taste.

Here's some gameplay, and special thanks for Sixpack Games

2. Grim Fandago Remastered
Platform: PS4 / PS Vita
Genre: Adventure
My Personal Rating: 9/10 (Recommended)
Grim Fandango is back, and, unlike The Longest Journey, it’s gotten a bit of modern spit and polish for its console/PC debut, and it goes without saying that for fans of adventure games, this is a must own title. Grim fandango has to be one of the best Adventure games I have ever played, and this remastered edition does not change my opinion about the game itself, but as a remastered piece, does not reach up to my level of expectation.

You'd better try this one, the nostalgic atmosphere and enjoy 1080p full resolution on PS4. It told with a very unique film noir story and engaging characters, Grim Fandango Remastered just oozes with charm all around. While quite complex, the style of puzzles found here is something that gaming is missing today and works just as well now as it did back in 1998, though the controls can get in the way at times.

3. Dragon Age Origins
Platform: PS3
Genre: Role-Playing
My Personal Rating: 10/10 (Recommended)
Most definitely have! This is my best and recommended free game if you are PS+ member.

This is definitely not the game for those frightened of the idea of micromanaging a game to the point where a large portion of it will be spent in a pause screen. However, as the sort of guy that has lovingly played an Infinity Engine game at least once every year for the past decade, I can think of no higher praise for this throwback than to say that Dragon Age: Origins leaves me feeling fairly confident I won't need to dig out the classics for this ritual next year.

A well made traditional fantasy RPG, even though the marketing department in Bioware would have you think otherwise. The world is well fleshed out and the story is traditional, but still interesting. The game lacks the truly epic atmosphere and realistic looking actors of Mass Effect, but it still manages to be great fun. Big plus for surprisingly challenging combat, which you don't see that much nowadays. The most finest as originality in Dragon Age series!

Special thanks for MisterShizno for the gameplay

4. Futuridium EP Deluxe
Platform: PS4 / PS Vita
Genre: Action
My Personal Rating: 7/10 (Fair)
If you remember Uridium on the Commodore 64 and loved it buy this game. It's an excellent modern take that doesn't spoil the memory. It is a little tricky but really well put together. A modern classic that so many indy games claim to be this delivers. Great controls, good visuals and cross buy. Plays just as well on the vita. For me it's way better than Resogun or velocity

The guys at Mixed Bag are definitely showing some promise, and Futuridium is proof of that. A fast paced, colorful and intelligent arcade game that deserves to be played. Proof yourself.

Here's trailer gameplay from PlayStation ^^

5. Medal of Honor Warfighter
Platform: PS3
Genre: Shooting / First Person
My Personal Rating: 7/10 (Recommended)
For you are who love First-Person shooting style, better don't miss it.

Medal of Honor is simply put, a great game. A lot of critics truly did not analyze all aspects of the title, but instead rated the title very harshly due to it's minor problems. I will agree that this game definitely feels as though it could've used a couple more hours in the oven, but the core gameplay, customization, sound, and visuals are so fantastic, that the minor issues and problems bear almost no weight. The story is pretty great, the CG cutscenes are beyond beautiful, the guns sound fierce and incredible, and the simple beauty that ensues whenever one of my stray bullets hits a piece of the enemy cover and dust and particles fly everywhere, is beyond incredible.

The multiplayer is also a lot of fun! The customization is fantastic, with all of the different accessories that I have the option of adding to my gun, as well as how I can represent the Nation of my choice with my classes is also a welcome addition to the franchise! The support actions are fun to use and help your team. The ability to spawn on your fireteam buddy and even create a platoon of several fireteams is also fantastic.

My big thanks for MrSkillToKill2 for gameplay

6. HISTORY Legends of War
Platform: PS Vita
Genre: Strategy
My Personal Rating: 6/10
In this epic turn-based strategy game you will follow the paths of General Patton during WWII, leading your troops to battle while traversing Western Europe's devastated land. Gain prestige points and use them to enhance your army, acquiring advanced weapons and gear. Play through four different types of missions: Attack, Defense, Infiltration, and Sabotage. From the French beaches to Belgium, you will have to prove your worth as a member of Patton's Third Army, and fight for victory!

What look alike History Legends of War in PSVita, thanks for gamerx101bpn99
